Overnight Mark Joyner has announced a new initiative based on his ideas on Integration Marketing (what others call joint ventures and alliances) which includes a free ebook version of his next book cunning titled "Integration Marketing: How Small Businesses Become Big Businesses - and Big Businesses Become Empires".
Here is a 3 minute video from Mark Joyner introducing Integration Marketing.

Mark Joyner promises that after you read the book:
- You'll know how to find marketing opportunities that will create as many customers as you want
- You will be able to maximise sales to every customer
- You will understand how to steadily grow your business every month.
Bold claims but does the book live up to them?
The book is organised into three parts - the idea, the strategy and the mastery.
Integration Marketing: The Idea
The book starts with stories from Mark's past with a powerful example on the most important factor of leadership. I'm not telling you what it is - the book is free - but it's not obvious but when you know it, you suddenly understand.
Integration Marketing: A Developing Concept
Mark Joyner started off defining integration marketing as:
The integration of one marketing process into another.
But he has now extended and developed the concept into:
The integration of a unit of marketing value into an existing integration point.
The first definition is easy to understand, the second is not so clear but has more power to get the old grey cells working when you know:
- Unit of marketing value means a marketing message e.g. an offer or brand promotion
- Integration point is where the message will receive automatic eyeball attention
Integration Marketing: The Strategy
What do you want?
How about Mark's three magic words - more profit faster.
Sounds right to me.
In a few pages the book explains how the Integration Marketing strategy works and can pay-off big time for you and covers internal integration marketing and external integration marketing.
Internal integration marketing is offering up-sells and cross-sells while external integration marketing is working with JV partners for cross-promotions of each others' services.
Integration Marketing Mastery
Mark Joyner then takes you through some mathematics to establish whether the integration marketing proposal will add value or reduce it (even with affiliate products where there is no financial cost, you still have the time and energy involved and the opportunity cost of that time to consider.)
This may make your head hurt but after you have read it a couple of times it makes sense and then if you practice applying the concepts to assessing opportunities, you see the relevance and power.
Integration Marketing Conclusion
I like this book a lot and even more because it is free. I rate it at 4 stars
Mark Joyner takes an idea that can be very complicated and unwieldy and strips it down to the basics and explains it in a simple, logical way.
The Integration Marketing ebook is short - the PDF runs to 49 pages so it doesn't take long to read and is highly recommended as it tells you "what to do".
It does however leave you to figure out the "how" but there is an up-sell that introduces the Integration Marketing Starter Kit with a one time offer and a money back guarantee.
I trust Mark Joyner and all my dealings with his companies have been excellent. I didn't have any problems with deciding to opt-in for the up-sell of the Integration Marketing Starter Kit.
My review of the Integration Marketing Starter Kit is on my main blog where Mark Joyner is one of the business development superstars I feature regularly.
The book is free and whilst I would criticise the brevity and the lack of the "how" in a paid for book, I can't be too hard on it and have given Integration Marketing a 4 star grade to reflect that this is a book I believe you need to read.
You may be able to work out the how of Integration Marketing for yourself after Mark Joyner has so clearly laid out the what or you may need the step by step guide for you to create the actions necessary to turn the concept into profits. Certainly knowing the "what" is a key first step.
Whether you buy the up-sell which tells you the "how" is up to you. In my review I make it clear that I see many advantages in being able to take proven examples from Mark Joyner's past successes and to be able to tweak them to my purposes.
