One of the best ways to attract coaching clients is to attract people through the offer of a seminar or workshop.
It’s how Jonathan Jay is building his new business SuccessTrack after selling his stake in The Coaching Academy and it’s what Dan Bradbury recommends in this video.
Dan refers to his training product The Coaching Code in his video (affiliate link) but the offer has currently expired.
His hot product at the moment is The Business School for Coaches & Trainers (affiliate link)
The beauty of using seminars is the leverage on your time – you do the work once and tens, perhaps hundreds of people can be exposed to your expertise at the same time which contrasts sharply with the one to one time ratio in free coaching sessions.
It’s also worth remembering that the seminars and workshops don’t need to involve travelling as you can promote with webinars and have the same benefits.
The downside of marketing with seminars is the problem of “bums on seats” which can be a big concern if you’ve hired a room, got significant fixed costs and you fear no one is going to turn up.
