Much, much better than the first video, $29 Million Info Business (affiliate link) which had too much bragging and not enough content for me.
OK there's a short section of Eben Pagan playing a guitar solo which is indulgent - if you wanted to see guitar playing you'd go to Clapton, right?
But it's there for a purpose as Eben goes on to give a business lesson based on buying the expensive guitar. It's what Eben calls a "priceless answer" to a problem he had, which meant he bought as soon as he saw it.
The same psychology can be used to find a profitable niche for your business.
Don't try to sell yourself, focus on the problems and desires that your potential customers have. Everyone has a pressing problem or desire they want to solve right now.
Eben takes you through two worksheets on how to test a niche and find the way the unlock the customer's buying desires.
Highly recommended to watch if you are interested in developing a niche. And whilst it's based around information products, the advice will apply to many other types of business.
