I watched the Dan Clark video presentation on Customer Service on the ilearningglobal.tv portal today and I must admit that I didn't get it.
Dan Clark is certainly a passionate speaker- a little too evangelical for my tastes - and while he said that you can't divorce sales from customer service - I agree entirely - I didn't get the customer service ideas and tips that I was hoping for.
He tells two stories.
The first is about an insurance salesman paying out checks to the families of 9/11 victims and the second about a school teacher creating a bond with a pupil in a rock band.
Interesting messages - I just don't see what they have to do with customer service.
