I have just been listening to an excellent audio recording of Bill Bartmann, (once ranked as the 25th richest man in America with a business valued in the billions) as he explains how to recession proof your business.
This is my first in-depth assessment of the content of iLearning Global, the new learning experience beyond the people I have paid attention to for years like Jay Abraham, Chet Holmes and Brian Tracy, Chief Learning Officer of iLearning Global.
Review of "How To Recession Proof Your Business"
This is a 76 minute recording packed with practical advice to help you to face up to the realities of the recession and provide you with the eight steps to guide you to safety and prosperity.
If you join iLearning Global and listen to this audio you will learn:
- 5 things you need to know about recessions
- The basics of competing in a recession
- 3 predictable things about any recession
- 8 steps to recession proof your business.
I am not going to tell you what the steps are but I will make the following comments.
Step 1 is brave but it certainly makes sense to flush out your customers teetering on the edge and the arithmetic is compelling.
Step 2 has already come true. Many companies are wishing they had done this and it is only going to get worse for the foreseeable future.
Step 3 makes sense and is something I urge all businesses to do. Perhaps not to the extent that Bill Bartmann recommends but there is a recession.
Step 4 is an alternative to step 3 - any of these steps will make you stronger and some of them will appeal more than others.
Step 5 is based on adjusting to the new realities. It is a rough, tough, cruel world out there.
Step 6 gives you eight areas to trim your operating expenses.
Step 7 helps you to focus on the positive and move forward into the spaces that your competitors have retreated from.
Step 8 is based on seizing the special opportunities that the recession will bring, once you are sure of the survival of your business.
Excellent audio recording and so relevant to today's situation.
iLearning Global will be sensational if a good proportion of the training material is this goo.
