Daily Success Stream

In a move which is bound to have upset those who spent huge amount of hours promoting the iLearning Global name, it has been changed to Daily Success Stream.

I wasn't keen on the iLearning Global name but personally, I think Daily Success Stream is even worse.

I guess the idea is to promote daily consumption of the videos - watch one per day and succeed.

They still don't seem to have solved the "how to buy membership" problem

I still believe that iLearning Global is a terrific idea but bringing together many of the best known names in business but I believe that the multi-level marketing model is wrong.

I tried it and gave up although I was ill at the time and needed to watch my spending levels.

I thought it would be interesting to see how iLearning Global had progressed since its launch so I have just had a look at the Alexa statistics.

One Guru Or Multiple Gurus?

The big advantage of taking advice and opening your mind up to learning is that you are not condemning yourself to make the same mistakes others have made or taking the long way around when you can be given simple, step by step instructions.

It is not for everyone.

Some people don't want to be told what to do by anyone and would rather earn a small fraction of their possible income, but with the satisfaction that they can say "I did it my way."

Other people seem to think that it is better to get their ideas from drinking buddies in the pub, even if those friends have never run a business or are struggling in business.

I prefer the Brian Tracy principle.

If you want to be successful, do what successful people do.

That's why I encourage you to find someone or a few people to follow and let them guide you to success and that's a key reason why I like iLearning Global

The Advantages Of Following One Guru

It is certainly the simplest.

Most successful personal development and business development gurus have created a process that helps you to move from A to B smoothly and without huge steps missing.

You are not overwhelmed with conflicting ideas.

Guru A says you must do X but not Y

Guru B says you should do Y but warns against X

Guru C says that X and Y are old hat and now you must do Z 2.0 (sorry that's an Internet marketing joke).

So who do you listen to?

Do you do a little bit of X, Y and Z and not commit to any?

Advantages Of Following Multiple Gurus

First it avoids the problem of "how do you choose which guru to follow" and the nagging question "I wonder if guru D is better?".

It opens you up to more ideas and gives you more chance to find the idea (and the expression of the idea) that really resonates for you and leads you into purposeful action.

It also fills in the holes.

No one knows it all.

And to create guru status, you usually have to differentiate yourself from what else is around.

You are not a guru if you say the same thing as everyone else in the same way. You have no USP.

So that means that gurus have to close their minds to certain ideas that work and to take up extreme positions.

Returning to the earlier example, it may be that X, Y and Z do work but for optimum performance you want 50% of X, 60% of Y and 40% of Z.

Little bits of X, Y and Z were know good when tried but each was implemented without commitment of follow through.

So what is the best way to find the ideas that resonate with you best?
