After I watched yesterday's video from Mark Victor Hansen on Leveraging The Economy I thought it made sense today to take a look at BNI founder, author and networking expert Ivan Misner and his presentation "I Refuse To Take Part In A Recession".

Are your listening to all the doom and gloom merchants that are talking the economy down?

It's almost as if they are revelling in the bad news.

But if you get your attitude right, you can find opportunities, even in this recession. That's what Ivan Misner says and it is what I believe.

The recession will create change - a minor wave in some markets, a tsunami of destruction in others.

The allocation of money will move around - away from those who do nothing and let business decline and towards those who take positive action towards the opportunities that are being created.

This is my first exposure to Ivan Misner and I found him a charismatic speaker.

There are about nine or ten more videos of Ivan Misner in ilearningglobal.tv at the moment although six of them are a series.

Should be good - I certainly enjoyed this pep talk and positive message. Sometimes it is nice to see that you are not alone.
