In the classic videos of iLearning Global is a 65 minute video of Tony Alessandra explaining the Platinum Rule - treat others as they want to be treated- and the four basic categories of behaviour.
The content is superb and I have taken eight A4 pages of notes from this one video. It seems that I was constantly writing and listening.

I have just watched the two part introduction to the Platinum Rule of Selling with Scott Zimmerman on iLearning Global.
The Golden Rule says "treat others as you want to be treated" but the Platinum Rule, created by Tony Alessandra says "treat others as they want to be treated".
The difference is subtle but creates much stronger relationships. It lifts you game but means that you have to adapt your behaviour to the other person.
