I was absolutely overwhelmed with emails about John Reese Traffic Formula 2.0 product so I thought I'd keep a record of who mailed what and when for StomperNet's Stomping The Search Engines 2.0. (Link takes you to my review.)
I have been pruning my list but it still should be interesting.

StomperNet News - Launch delayed until 4:30 EST / 9:30 UK time with an extra bonus added Jerry West's MASTER ON-PAGE Optimizer Digital Handbook.
Interesting that StomperNet haven't mailed their subscriber list yet but perhaps that's a victim of their servers as well.
StomperNet - 3rd September, 21:12 - hope to be ready soon and they've ordered more copies.

StomperNet News - Launch put back another hour to 5:30 EST / 10:30 UK time. I'm getting emails to say that people can't stay up any longer. Definitely an issue when you are in Europe.
Nothing seen yet from Jeff Walker or Frank Kern. Interesting.
StomperNet News - Now they have added in an opt-in box to capture people's email addresses to be told when the technical problems are fixed.
Latest from ClickNewz as Lynn is much stronger connections than me. "The offer will be live for at least a week". Best advice just sign up to the one time list. You don't get added to the general StomperNet list but they know you can't be expected to keep jumping across.

StomperNet News, September 4th, 02:23 Very sorry but launch is now scheduled for September 4th, 19:00 UK, 14:00 EST with new introduction to the video from Andy Jenkins apologising. It seems they have big problems with the shopping cart.

But why this is good for you is they have an early notification list set up there, so you won't have to wait (and wait) for them to get fixed.
They'll just go ahead and let you know DIRECTLY when they're ready.
And that's pretty cool of them.
P.S. Seriously though, there's kind of a guilty pleasure seeing this apology video (but Andy really means it.)
This posting for the launch process was intended as a study in the psychological plays of the well known StomperNet affiliates to see how they announced the news and handled the timing issue.
It's now more dramatic but I do feel sorry for StomperNet and no matter how much you prepare, things can go wrong. I have no idea how you test a system to see if it can handle a blitz of activity at a particular time.

Update - Friday 5th September
Things are still not right.
The launch finally opened about 1:30 am UK time and for many people, the shopping cart is working fine.
But for some unlucky people it isn't and I've received a few messages to ask what's going on.
So I asked StomperNet and they do know there is still a problem with the shopping cart and some people are having a very frustrating time but also they have taken a lot of orders.
