Free Blogging is Dead, Long Live Paid Blogging

If you are a regular reader of my Online Profits blog, then you'll know that I am a big fan of Ryan Deiss. (There are three people I play close attention to - Ryan, Rich Schefren and Glenn Livingston - we've only got so much time and attention and these are the three who regularly deliver great content to me.).

There are plenty of others who consistently deliver good stuff but you can't keep up with everything from everyone.

It just isn't possible.

And that's why I am interested in what Ryan Deiss has just done.

Ryan had a very successful blog called Driving Traffic with an Alexa ranking of 14,540

Today I got an email saying that he's killed his blog - dead.

Why?

Product Launch Formula Returns February 2011

Jeff Walker has started the re-launch for his classic marketing program, the Product Launch Formula in February 2011. 

I think this is effectively Product Launch Formula 3.1 although I''m not sure what Jeff is calling it.

If you've been around Internet marketing for any time, you'll have seen the product launch formula at work since it is the dominant method for gaining attention to and selling new promotions.

I believe it is the most successful Internet marketing training program ever.

I bought Product Launch Formula 2.0 several years ago and it is very extensive. Jeff lives and breathes product launches and knows more about this stuff than anyone else.

I take the view that you can learn a lot by watching what Jeff Walker does in a product launch and modelling it with spending the $2k to buy PLF.

It's not the same as going through the course as you don't get to learn the why's but you certainly get to see what is done in the Product Launch Formula.
