I've started seeing promotions for WebFire Internet marketing tools with the promise of getting your website on the first page of Google, Yahoo and Bing in just seven minutes.
It's a bold claim but is WebFire the hypey scam that it sounds?
You can learn more by watching the promotional video and reading the rest of the article on WebFire.

What is WebFire?
The promotional material for WebFire describes it as...
WebFire is powerful, easy-to-use software which will help you create instant exposure, high qualify backlinks, and fast, free traffic and leads.
WebFire users can:
- Get instantly exposed on top ranking sites!
- Get leads that turn into new customers!
- Get fast, free traffic
- Automatically create and upload videos
- Automatically create hundreds of articles
- And Much, MUCH More!
These are big claims but if here is a good chance that it is true, I think committed Internet marketers need to investigate WebFire and even give it a try under the current low cost offer.

Who is Behind WebFire?
The two entrepreneurs behind WebFire are Shawn Casey and Brian Koz (aka Brian Kosobucki.
Both have been active in Internet marketing for a long time so you can find out plenty by Googling them.
I must admit that I haven't had any experience of either of them but I am intrigued by Webfire.
The video goes into plenty of detail about Shawn Casey and his history online and how he got Brian Koz involved in this WebFire product.
Who Shouldn't Buy WebFire?
If you've got a bad habit of buying stuff and not using it, then you need to think carefully about buying WebFire, regardless of how good the deal looks.
Tools make it much easier to take action but you still have to do stuff to get results.
That's the truth, regardless of what shady marketers will tell you.
Fortunately the current offer is at a very low price per month and there's a 30 day money back guarantee so you can try it with no risk.
However, if you don't do stuff, you may be trying to solve the wrong problem.
You may not need a tool like WebFire that makes it easier for you not to do stuff.
Instead, you need to look at your motivations and constraints and emotional blockers to work out why you're not doing the things that you know will move you closer to achieving your goals.
Who Should Buy (Or At Least Try) WebFire
If you're a committed action taker who wants to get more traffic to your websites, then you owe it to yourself to at least watch the WebFire promotional video which includes the story of development for WebFire and a demonstration.

In my opinion, Shawn Casey presents a compelling case for giving WebFire a try.
The WebFire Promotional Video
When you watch the Webfire video (affiliate link) you'll be introduced to the free ride shortcut method.
I like this idea which is a different way to get your offer on the first page of Google. The tools look very interesting for this technique although you're relying on getting comments approved and persuading people to click through to your website offers.
However I thought the demonstration had an element of deception in it. The tools that are demonstrated pull up keyword information from the Google keywords tool on a broad match basis.
I've checked and the demo shows a term like weight loss la searched for more than 11 million times on a global basis in a month. It's a very different story when you switch to exact match.
This reservation doesn't invalidate WebFire but it does mean that you may not see the huge surge in traffic that you think you could get and I'd prefer it was done on exact match or phrase match.
I thought the video firestorm tool looked clever if you want to use videos but your too scared to do them yourself but you want to use the ideas behind the YouTube Google Hack.
The videos aren't going to be as good as an experienced video maker could do but if you've wanted to get stuff on YouTube and never done it, then this is a good start.
WebFire also includes an article spinner to automate most of your article marketing. These can be turned into different videos. Personally I've never been keen on this approach because of the quality issues and I understand that after the Google Panda update, the effectiveness of these links is reduced.
There's also plenty more in WebFire.

Is WebFire The Complete Answer?
Webfire looks good and the current offer (March 2012) is very attractive but it's worth remembering that success depends on two things.
- getting eyeballs and ears
- on compelling offers
It's not just a question of traffic, you need your visitors to see great offers that give them the solutions and benefits they want.
To achieve this success, you need three things:
- Up-to-date knowledge about what's working now on the Internet - I recommend Digital Marketer Lab from Ryan Deiss
- Effective software tools to make time consuming or difficult tasks quicker and easier - that's where WebFire fits in
- The determination and commitment to take purposeful action - to know where you want to go and how you want to get there. The Rich Schefren webinar From Frustration To Freedom is well worth watching, even if the Business Growth System it promotes is not right for you.
You've seen that I have some concerns about the promotion for WebFire and how it gives a misleading impression of the traffic that is available.
However I do believe that tools like WebFire have an important role to play in success on the Internet.
Only you can know whether it's right for you but I've seen enough to believe that WebFire deserves a trial under the 30 day money back guarantee.

I Am An Affiliate For WebFire
I've tried to make it very clear that I am an affiliate for WebFire and therefore I have an incentive to persuade you to buy through my link as I should receive a commission.
It may or may not be right for you and if you're not sending traffic to compelling offers, it's difficult to see how you're going to make money. Remember the key to success is eyes and ears on offers.
Have You Used WebFire?
With all my affiliate promotions, I am very grateful for comments by people who have used the product or service; both good and bad.
I'd like to know what you think about WebFire and whether it has helped you to:
- get more traffic
- given you the confidence to take action
