Part Time Finance Directors - The End

From 1 January 2012 I have withdrawn all interest from the part time Finance Director market.

It's been many years since I provided the services myself but until a few days ago I was promoting the service for a few experienced accountants throughout the UK.

That has ended based on feedback from people that it is confusing people on my own core offer of strategic coaching and consultancy which combines finance, marketing and strategy.

Differentiate Your Business

If you are thinking about hiring a part time finance director because you need to have more focus on finance, profit and cash flow, then my own view is that you'll get a better deal from approaching independents rather than one of the networks/franchises although you will have to do more due diligence yourself on qualifications and experience.

How To Grow Your Part Time FD Business

Growing a part time finance director business is a fascinating marketing challenge.

On the plus side, the life-time value of a client is huge which means that the wise FD is prepared to invest in converting interest from a possible client and find where extra value can be found - see Selling Like A Finance Director.
