Most of the business summaries that I have covered so far have been from BusinessSummaries but I have just received an email from Soundview tell me that there is a free summary available.
Read or listen to a FREE Soundview Executive Book Summary:
"TALENT IS NEVER ENOUGH - Discover the Choices That Will Take You Beyond Your Talent" by John C. Maxwell.
In brief:
Talent is often overrated and frequently misunderstood.
When people achieve great things, others often explain their accomplishments by simply attributing everything to talent. But that is a false and misleading way of looking at success. If talent alone is enough, then why do you know of highly talented people who are not highly successful?
Leadership expert Dr. John C. Maxwell knows that people are never successful by talent alone, and he outlines 13 crucial things you can do to maximize your natural talents and become a "talent-plus" person. Get it FREE now!! Click Here
As it was only this morning that I posted an article on a similar subject in terms of Discovering Your Sales Strengths which relies on talent, it made sense to post this immediately.
I haven't read it yet but as it is free, it has to be worth a try.

Success doesn't depend on talent, every person with good health and judgment can be successful.
What are the qualities which make for success? They are three:
1. Judgment
2.Industry
3.Health
These are the three pillars which hold up the fabric of success. But I think the greatest of these is judgment... When you say judgment you have said everything. Judgment is the power to assimilate knowledge and to use it.
Talent goes to the heart of a matter like an arrow from a bow, but judgment is the quality which learns from the world what the world has to teach.
The first condition of success in every calling is devotion to its requirements and duties.

PV thanks for your well written comments.
I agree with you that judgement is an essential factor - what to do and what not to do, which relationships to nurture and which to let fade away.
It all comes down to choice because none of us has an unlimited amount of time.
