As I was browsing around the Internet and I found this interesting video from marketing expert and author Seth Godin talking about how ideas spread, starting with sliced bread.
The problem is that traditional marketing is reducing in its impact. We have too many choices and too little time so we ignore the vast majority of messages.
The critical issue is "Is it remarkable?" If not people will the message.
Mass marketing used to make average products for average people but these are the people who don't care. The product doesn't move them.
