The Profit Tipping Point
Are You Chasing Too Many Opportunities?
If you are STRUGGLING to make money money on the Internet then it is probably because you are chasing the next big opportunity all the time. It's what most people do and is why Rich Schefren's ideas have proven to be so powerful.
Take a tip from me and watch this free webinar - it is a BIG EYE-OPENER on what holds people back from the success they want.
Strategy Failure - what causes strategies to fail and is it often down to common mistakes in creating and implementing strategy?
The RBS bank has just posted the biggest loss in UK history after making a bad acquisition, Lloyds TSB has been forced to go cap in hand to the government after agreeing to merge with HBOS to help Gordon Brown "save the world" and retailers are lining up to be the next pre-pack administration.
These are all big businesses, professionally managed and I am sure that they all had elaborate business strategies.
Simpleology have announced a new product - the Email Survival cashmap.
If you are overwhelmed by your email every morning and it messes up your to do list - and if you hate going away on holiday because you will come back to 2,138 emails in your inbox, you need to take a look at the Email Survival Strategy Cashmap (affiliate link).
Overnight Brad Semp announced on Twitter a new cashmap has been released under the Simpleology brand - the Financial Survival Strategy Cashmap. affiliate link

I was going back on some past emails today from copywriter John Carlton and discovered that his copywriting interviews with the top Internet marketing gurus are still available.
When John Carlton was launching his Simple Writing System last October, he interviewed some of the top Internet people about their copywriting techniques.
If you want more success in your marketing, then make sure that your headlines are effective and pull people into your copy.
If you are having a poor response from your sales letters, adverts and telemarketing scripts, it is probably because you are not grabbing your prospect from the very start.
It is common sense if your marketing doesn't receive attention, it can't generate leads and orders.
I am currently focusing much of my research time on copywriting and that means going back to the old masters. One of the best is Gary Halbert who died several years ago.
Gary Halbert wrote a monthly newsletter called The Gary Halbert Letters which distilled his wisdom and when I was looking at the list today, I found one written about tough times.
The vast of business owners have a business which can be classified as small so why is it that so much of the marketing to small business owners is so bad?
What Is A Small Business
In the UK official statistics we have two classes of "small business"
micro businesses have up to 10 employees
small businesses have 10 to 50 employees
but they are often lumped into a generic SME category which includes medium sized businesses from 51 to 250 employees.
One of the most famous concepts in marketing is the marketing mix or the 4 P's of marketing.
What's Included In This Article On The Marketing Mix
In this long article I look at the traditional marketing mix and how the marketing mix has been extended for service marketing with the 7 P's of Marketing.
I then consider just how many P's there are in marketing since there have been many derivations of the marketing mix.
I also look at the different versions of the marketing mix based on a wide variety of Ps of marketing - the 5 Ps, 6 Ps, 8 Ps, 9 Ps etc- you'll be surprised at just how many different versions of the marketing mix there are.
For years I have dismissed NLP as mumbo jumbo and especially since so many people are NLP practitioners who believe they can put the world to right.
However since I read Paul Handley's book "The Guerrilla Marketing Revolution" I have been paying much more attention to the ideas and have recently begun focussing on the work of Dr Harlan Kilstein and his ideas for NLP copywriting.
When you start a blog, the first thing you want is traffic.
After al there is little point in writing if no one is reading it - and in my experience you always want more traffic.
But the reading is not enough, you want to engage with your readers by people leaving comments that add to the debate or recognise your efforts. Not the spam nonsense that is so common but comments that add value.
I have just read an interesting article on the E Myth blog - Imitation: Flattery or Theft - which deals with the situation where you systemise your business, have it working very smoothly and then an employee gets the entrepreneurial seizure and decides to start a business based on your proven systems.
T Harv Eker has announced that the Millionaire Mind Intensive is back coming back to London UK in February 2010 with his Millionaire Mind Intensive.
This blog was originally written to let readers know about the April 2009 seminar but Harv Eker has added extra dates and seminar will be in London on 19 - 21 February 2010
I was thinking about the difference between UK and US style copywriting and advertising - instinct says that the British version is much more reserved - and came across the FCB Planning Matrix.
The Foote Cone Belding Planning Matrix
The Foote, Cone and Belding planning matrix contrasts product involvement (high to low) and product emotion (thinking/feeling).
I recommended the Guerrilla Marketing Coach Certification program to someone last week who wanted to know if I would train him to be a business coach.
Today I have just spoken to Mitch Meyerson, the founder of the program and he told me that the next course starts on February 25th, 2009.
If you want to be a business coach or a marketing coach then this is a great chance to link your business to the biggest name in small business marketing in the world.
I am spending a lot of time communicating with Brian Tracy International following the creation of the iLearning Global training platform and generally strengthening my relationship.
These are exciting times and i used to have permission to publish Brian's articles on this business coaching blog but they didn't always fit in with the direction I wanted to move but they always had good advice in them.
So I have found the solution.
I have reconfirmed my permission to publish and I have created a specialist Brian Tracy blog.
Have you had a chance to look at the new training platform that could change business training forever, bringing the leading experts to your PC whenever you want and need them?
It is called iLearning Global which is a portal packed with inspirational business development and personal improvement videos, audio recordings and ebooks.
They are now going one step further and putting together a structured small business training program using these materials in expert directed guide education for those who want it.
I am very impressed with the Simpleology Elective training program for the Irresistible Offer.
The book "The Irresistible Offer" by Mark Joyner is a modern day marketing classic stripping business down to its very basics - you must make an offer.
The Basics of Business - An Offer
Want to sell anything?
Then make your offer.
"If you give me X then I will give you Y" - if it is irresistible, I will buy. If I don't understand the offer or if it doesn't appeal, you don't get the money.
Simple.
