I am intrigued by the use of NLP in marketing and in the last twelve months I have discovered Dr Harlan Kilstein, a master of NLP copywriting.
His NLP Copywriting course is fascinating and has made me much more aware of language patterns and their subtle influence.
I am at the stage at the moment where I can see some of what is being done to me...but not yet at the stage of mastery in my own writing.
I suppose that explains why I am not a seven figure a year copywriter like Harlan.
I do a bit of copywriting for coaching clients and as I push on with a more niche marketing approach, I will be providing more "done for you" marketing stuff and might agree to do more copywriting within the niche.
That will be good.
I have Harlan's NLP Copywriting 2 up my sleeve once I am confident with the introductory course and mastered the jargon.
So when Harlan sent me another I was fascinated.
It is about using NLP to win the Inner Game.
The Inner Game of Copywriting.
About getting your mindset right and breaking through the self imposed boundaries that hold so many people back.
Even someone as successful as me.
Trouble is, they are hidden.
Working away in my subconscious mind, stopping me. Limiting what I can do. Making life harder than it needs to be.
So I am intrigued by the Inner Game of Copywriting and I want it.
It sounds fascinating. It sounds as if it will make a huge difference.
And Harlan's copywriting is masterful.
Of course the Inner Game of Copywriting comes with a comprehensive guarantee so why did I do what I did?
I clicked on the buy now button, whizzed passed the upsell - a great deal by the way if you haven't bought NLP Copywriting.
But then I stopped. I remembered.
My promise to myself.
I have been on an information buying splurge in the last three months while I have been ill and not been able to work with my coaching clients. (Getting better thanks.)
My promise is "No more stuff to buy until I work through the backlog" - Frank Kern's Mass Control, some Dan Kennedy and Gary Halbert stuff, Dave Lakhani's Renegades of Persuasion and of course Harlan's NLP Copywriting 2 and probably more at the bottom of the pile.
But since this is a promise to myself I have one exception that gives me wriggle room.
I am a buyer and I want the Inner Game of Copywriting. Even though I don't want to be a full time copywriter I do want to be even more successful.
What is my wriggle room?
I can buy the Inner Game of Copywriting with "found money".
These are affiliate links, so if you buy, I get a bit of commission.
If a few of you buy, I get enough "found money" to buy my own copy of the Inner Game of Copywriting while still keeping my promise to myself.
I like keeping promises to myself but I hate missing opportunities.
It makes sense to me and when you read the sales letter, you too, will understand why I want it.
Inner Game of Copywriting
I know that I'm not going to get to listen to it for two or three months because of all the other stuff - so I am just hoping that Harlan doesn't up the ante and push up the price of the Inner Game of Copywriting before I am ready to buy.
Disclosure - I am an affiliate for Harlan Kilstein and if you click through my link and then buy I will be paid a commission.
I Recommend This Other Marketing And Business Growth Training
I liked this training product so much that I paid money to licence and white-label it.
As well as covering copywriting and persuasion, it also has just about everything else you can think about for marketing.
