Browsing through Amazon I spotted that Michael Gerber has a new book out - "The E-Myth Enterprise: How to Turn A Great Idea Into a Thriving Business".
The book was released on June 23 2009 in the US but I didn't see any promotional blurb or any special events for The E-Myth Enterprise.
Publishers Week says Michael Gerber "identifies four essential facets of building a new company—visual, emotional, functional and financial—and the five essential skills: concentration, discrimination, organization, innovation and communication."
That sounds to me like an update of "The Power Point" by Michael Gerber published in 1991 and which has been out of print for years.
Being a big Michael Gerber fan, I of course have a copy of The Power Point.
After the disappointment of Awakening The Entrepreneur Within and importing a copy from the US before the UK launch, I want to see "The E-Myth Enterprise" in a bookshop before I spend my money.
There is only one review on Amazon.com so far - 5 stars - but it mentions the pure business poetry which is Michael Gerber's trademark. That scares me as the ideas are usually powerful but I don't enjoy the writing style.
Not sure why the launch of "The E-Myth Enterprise"has been so quiet because I think a new Michael Gerber book should be an event that is widely promoted in the small business community.
I very much see Michael Gerber as the person who invented business coaching since before him, the small business community was largely ignored by business consultants because of the cost/benefit problem. Michael Gerber showed how it could be done by teaching the entrepreneur or small business owner to do it themselves but with guidance.
You can get a copy from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk
Michael Gerber Other Books
I have reviewed a number of MIchael Gerber's other books
The E Myth Revisited - 5 Stars
E Myth Mastery - 4 Stars (but avoid the audio book like the plague)
Awakening The Entrepreneur Within - 2 stars (this review is over on my Business Books Blog)

I managed to look at The E Myth Enterprise by Michael Gerber in Waterstones and I was right.
The E Myth Enterprise is an updated version of The Power Point published in 1991.
Apart from mentioning Michael's idea for a new degree - the Master of Business Design, it doesn't seem to be very different at all although I haven't done a page by page comparison.
The Power Point has
Chapter 2 - on the Five Essential Skills
Chapter 3 introduces the Power Point Matrix - the four categories of preference.
Subsequent chapters then go into more detail on the Visual ideal, the emotional ideal, the functional ideal and the financial deal.
I need to read The Power Point again but from memory I would rate at around the 4 Star level.
That makes the new version, The E Myth Enterprise a recommended read - and much better than Awakening The Entrepreneur Within.
