This morning I read "The Life Coaching Conspiracy" by one of the rising stars of the UK's coaching industry Dan Bradbury.
I don't often comment on life coaching but I do know that some coaches try to combine life coaching with business coaching so I thought it could be relevant and there is a special reason why I wanted to let you know about it. More later.
Dan Bradbury argues that the coaching training schools are virtually suckering in people to qualify as coaches but the vast majority don't turn coaching into a viable business.
I'm not sure about the origin of the statistics but those quoted in The Life Coaching Conspiracy are shocking.
In this 23 page report, Dan tells you about the five biggest myths of the life coaching business and shares with you, what you can do to come out on top.
I won't hide the truth. This is a lead generation report aiming to attract coaches to a two day event - the NLP and Coaching Business Conference on September 26th and 27th.
Dan Bradbury is covering the costs of the conference but he wants the people who attend to make a donation to help build a bigger neonatal unit at Birmingham Women's Hospital.
Dan has shared details of this story in his email and in the Life Coaching Conspiracy report. On June 17th, his daughter Summer was born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia and had to have a big operation.
Fortunately Summer can through it well but survival rates are around the 50% mark and the neonatal unit can't handle all the cases that it should and could and needs £2 million.
Putting politics to one side, I live in Birmingham so this is my local Women's hospital and while I don't have children, someone I know may need this in the future.
Dan has given me permission to give away his Life Coaching Conspiracy report.
When you read the report, you will find yourself nodding so do think about taking Dan Bradbury up on his offer of the NLP and Coaching Business Conference in September, and help build a new neonatal unit to save more children like Summer.
Dan has also written another report you may be interested in - the Death of Coaching.
