Interesting way of handling the primary and secondary offer. I've always done one or the other rather than both - so I've learned something here - thanks.

By the way, Drayton Bird recently released "Direct marketing for Law Firms". At £295 a pop it's not cheap - but it's by far the most comprehensive book ever written on the subject - by the chap who according to David Ogilvy knows more about direct marketing than anyone else in the world. The recommendations are just as relevant for consultants and other professional firms too (I'm a bit biased as I'm referenced in the book)

Thanks for the tip about the Drayton Bird book - I have one of his other books - "How To Write Sales Letters That Sell" which is good.

The £295 sounds steep and I think I'd need to look at it first.
