On my Internet blog Online Profits I have recently reviewed a new training course called Offline Arbitrage.
Forget the fancy name, this is really a postcard marketing course, promoted by Ryan Deiss /(one of my favourite Internet marketers) and featuring postcard marketing expert Luke Jaten.
Luke has previously sold a postcard marketing program called Postcard Profits and I'm told this is very similar.
The hook in the promotion is to get website traffic and leads for free by selling back your mailing list for future use by other marketers. It's a nice idea but I'm not sure a startegic marketer would want to do it.
There's not much more valuable than a list of leads or buyers in a business.
I like postcard marketing as a way to attract leads for many service businesses if you use a two step campaign.
Step 1 is all about getting potential cusstomers to raise their hands and say "I'm interested." That's all you shoudl aim to do in the limited space fo a postcard.
Step 2 converts interest into buyers.

Thanks for the post, I stumbled upon it randomly. I've found that a healthy offline marketing strategy works best with a healthy online strategy - it's not really one or the other.
