It's difficult getting the right balance when you write a blog like this. I started a second blog Online Profits when I thought I was writing too much about Internet marketing.
Now I tend to ignore it here and I think that's a mistake for business owners who follow it through the RSS feed.
There are two recent things that I'm excited about.
The first is Google Remarketing.
This gives you the chance to have your adverts follow your customers around the web as they browse the content network. This brings the power of repetition into your marketing is the results he's sharing of his testing what works.
The second is a new membership site, Digital Marketer Lab from one of my favourite Internet gurus, Ryan Deiss.
There's some great training but more importantly, Ryan is sharing the results of his split testing.
Testing is a bore but any direct marketer will tell you that it is the only way to hone your marketing.
It's not what you think is right and might work that matters.
It's what causes your target customers to vote initially with their clicks and time and then with their money.

Remarketing is such a great tactic. Research shows it takes 5-7 "touches" with a consumer before they recognize your brand. Remarketing finds them. Also, for longer sales-cycle products, a gentle reminder can really increase conversion.
