I'm fascinated by how well master copywriters use words to persuade people to take action and I was very impressed with this introductory video from Robert Stover.
The Copywriting Master Formula Video
In a video (about 30 minutes long) he introduces his copywriting master formula.
It looks scary because there are 12 components to it but because it's based on how people develop the urgent want to buy, I think it makes a great deal of sense. In fact, parts of it remind me of something that I used to teach.
Copywriting is often called the art of salesmanship in print but I've noticed a big difference between much of the copy I see in real life( and the copywriting training I've seen) and what happens in sales training.
Most copywriting is very positive. In fact it's often so positive and biased, it comes across as hype and scares potential buyers away.
Sales people, on the other hand, are taught to ask questions to find out the prospect's problem and the pain that problem causes.
When I did the John Carlton Simple Writing System training, I asked about this difference but the debate never developed in a way to explain the dichotomy.
The copywriting master formula from Robert Stover marries these two approaches and he teaches you how you can start with the problem and issues connected to it or start with the benefits and results of the solution.

This isn't an affiliate link. I just thought the information was very useful if you want to think through your marketing messages.
I'm sure that there is a product launch on the way and I should make it clear that I haven't seen the product so I'm not making any kind of recommendation. If you're interested, decide for yourself whether his approach gives you "aha" moments and helps you think through the process of helping your prospective customers buy from you.
I Recommend This Marketing And Business Growth Training
I liked this training product so much that I paid money to licence and white-label it.
As well as covering copywriting and persuasion, it also has just about everything else you can think about for marketing.
